PERSONAL DATA ADMINISTRATOR AND DATA PROTECTION INSPECTOR

The administrator of your personal data is the Łukasiewicz Research Network - Poznański Instytut Technologiczny (hereinafter "Łukasiewicz - PIT").

We have appointed a data protection officer. It is a person you can contact in matters related to the processing of your personal data and the exercise of your rights. You can contact the inspector by e-mail: iod@pit.lukasiewicz.gov.pl

WHY WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA

The purposes for which we process your data may be different. For example:

  1. if you contact us, we use your data to answer you;
  2. if you enter into a contract with us, your data will be used by us to prepare and perform the contract;
  3. if you are a participant of our trainings, we need your data to be able to properly conduct these trainings;
  4. if we process your data in connection with the implementation of EU projects, we do it to meet the obligations of the beneficiary of such a project;
  5. if you are our employee - we use your data to perform our duties as an employer.

REGULATIONS ON THE BASIS OF WHICH WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA

As an administrator, we always process personal data based on legal grounds resulting from the GDPR. These may include:

  1. consent of the data subject;
  2. performance of the contract - when its party is the data subject or taking action at the request of such a person before concluding the contract;
  3. fulfillment of the obligation imposed on the administrator;
  4. protection of the vital interests of the data subject (or other natural persons);
  5. performing the task entrusted to the administrator as part of:
    1. public interest
    2. public authority,
  6. pursuing other goals that result from legitimate interests, such as:
    1. investigation and enforcement of claims,
    2. direct marketing and other forms of marketing or advertising,
    3. ensuring security (e.g. using monitoring), IT and network security.

INFORMATION ABOUT RECIPIENTS OF PERSONAL DATA

It happens that in certain situations we transfer your personal data to other recipients. This may happen when the service we use requires it (e.g. IT, financial, insurance, auditing, courier and postal services, destruction and archiving of documentation, legal services). Each time your personal data is made available to the recipient in accordance with the provisions of the GDPR.

TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA TO A THIRD COUNTRY OR INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION

As a standard, we do not transfer your personal data to a third country or an international organization. However, if such a transfer takes place, it always takes place in accordance with the provisions of the GDPR.
We use Microsoft Office 365, which may result in the transfer of your personal data to a third country. The MS Office 365 Online Services Terms and Conditions and obligations regarding the processing and securing of user data and personal data by online services are set out in the Microsoft documentation.

PERIOD FOR WHICH PERSONAL DATA WILL BE STORED

We store your personal data until we achieve the purpose for which this processing is carried out. Sometimes the processing period also results from the law.

YOUR RIGHTS

Since we process your personal data, you have the right to:

  1. request from us access to data, rectification, deletion or limitation of processing,
  2. object to processing,
  3. data portability.

To exercise your rights, please contact us. The GDPR regulates in detail when you can exercise your rights. As an administrator, we always analyze whether you can use your rights.

WITHDRAWAL OF CONSENT

If we process personal data based on your consent, remember that you have the right to withdraw it. Withdrawal of consent, however, is not retroactive - we could use your data throughout the period of consent.

COMPLAINT TO THE PRESIDENT OF THE PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION OFFICE (UODO)

The person whose personal data is processed has the right to submit a complaint related to the processing of his data to the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (address: ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw).

OBLIGATION TO PROVIDE PERSONAL DATA

Your obligation to provide this data may be:

  1. statutory requirement,
  2. contractual requirement
  3. condition of concluding the contract.

Remember that if in certain situations you do not provide your personal data, it may be a violation of the law. Failure to provide data may also mean that we will not be able to achieve the purpose for which the processing is to be carried out.

AUTOMATED DECISION MAKING, INCLUDING PROFILING

As an administrator, we do not process personal data in a way that involves automated decision-making, including profiling.
